Excellence Scholarships, 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Utrecht Excellence Scholarship offers a number of graduate scholarship awards to highly talented prospective international students, with the opportunity to pursue a degree in a selected number of fields at Utrecht University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:&nbsp;<\/strong>Before 31 January 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Offered annually?<\/strong>&nbsp;Yes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligible Countries:&nbsp;<\/strong>International<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To be taken at (country):<\/strong>&nbsp;Utrecht University, Netherlands<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Accepted Subject Areas?&nbsp;<\/strong>The Utrecht Excellence Scholarship offers a number of highly talented prospective students the opportunity to pursue a degree in a selected number of fields at Utrecht University:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Graduate School of Geosciences<\/li><li>Graduate School of Humanities<\/li><li>Graduate School of Law, Economics and Governance<\/li><li>Graduate School of Life Sciences<\/li><li>Graduate School of Natural Sciences<\/li><li>Graduate School of Social and Behavioural Sciences<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Type:&nbsp;<\/strong>Masters<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Number Of Scholarships:<\/strong>&nbsp;20-25 scholarships<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Value Of Scholarships:&nbsp;<\/strong>The Utrecht Excellence scholarship can be awarded as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>the tuition fee, or<\/li><li>the tuition fee plus the income required for a period of one year linked to a residence permit for study as determined by the IND (Immigration and Naturalisation Service).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The scholarship can be renewed for the second year of two-year master\u2019s programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility:&nbsp;<\/strong>To be eligible for the&nbsp;Utrecht Excellence Scholarships, applicants must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Belong to the top 10% of your graduating class<\/li><li>Hold a non-EU\/EEA passport and not be eligible for support under the Dutch system of study grants and loans<\/li><li>Have completed your secondary school and\/or Bachelor degree outside the Netherlands<\/li><li>Have applied for an international undergraduate\/master\u2019s programme<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Apply:&nbsp;<\/strong>After submitting an application for the Master\u2019s programme, non-EU\/EEA students will have the option to submit an application for an Utrecht Excellence Scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will need to upload the following document:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Proof of belonging to the top 10% of your graduating class:<br>an official document issued by your university that proves you are among the top 10% of your graduating class, such as a statement signed and stamped by your University, a reference letter, a class ranking certificate<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested applicants should take the following steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Submit an application for a Master\u2019s programme;
