This programme&nbsp;aims to help develop the next generation of Black leaders in cancer research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:&nbsp;<\/strong>November 15<strong>,&nbsp;<\/strong>2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligible Countries:&nbsp;<\/strong>International<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Type:\u00a0<\/strong>PhD<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Value of Award<\/strong>: In addition to the central elements of the MRes+ PhD training such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Two 15-week research rotations<\/li><li>A weekly \u2018Lectures in Cancer Biology and Medicine\u2019 series and 1 week intensive teaching in genomic medicine, to cover the wide breadth of basic and applied cancer biology<\/li><li>A 1-2 week clinical shadowing to give insight into the rewards and challenges of cancer research<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Students on this programme will additionally receive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>a comprehensive programme of mentoring, career support, leadership training and networkingled by the&nbsp;Windsor Fellowship&nbsp;and&nbsp;Black in Cancer.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Two studentships are offered the academic year 2023-2024 with possible funding available for at least one overseas applicant.
